TUESDAY’S PRAYER
By paul | October 9, 2008
Hello Everyone:
So many of you emailed and said how much you liked the last newsletter A Monday Prayer!
So, I thought I’d share another beautiful writing for your contemplation. This writing comes from that same little booklet titled; Wherever You Are God Is. Use it every Tuesday and keep watching your email inbox each of the next 5 months as I’ll send you the Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday prayers for your collection….
Do you feel Divinely guided? You know, there is a big difference between meditation and contemplation. Meditation is truly total silence allowing yourself to “be” in the Presence of God! Contemplation is thinking on some idea, topic or concept allowing it to seep into your inner being. When you do this, you “become” what you think about and that’s why thinking about or contemplating this and all these prayers makes such sense. And the more you do that, the more you’ll become what these prayers are about!
Tuesday’s Prayer
I am guided and loved, today and every day.
As I begin this day, I look to You, Lord. Keep me in all my ways, safe in Your Presence, enfolded in Your love.
Guide my feet in the way they should go. Instruct me with Your “still small voice.” Help me to be faithful to Your guidance. Help me to be calm, unwavering, steadfast in the knowledge that You are in charge and nothing but good can come to me and mine.
Love me, Lord, just for today. I know that You are with me today, supplying all my needs, tenderly upholding me.
Today, I walk with You, and You lead me irresistibly to the good you have already prepared for me.
Whatever I need to do today, be with me, Lord. Wherever I need to go today, guide my steps, Lord.
Keep me safe and secure through every moment of the day. Fill me with Your wisdom: enfold me in Your love; strengthen me with Your power.
“The Lord bless you and keep you:The Lord make His face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.” – Num. 6:24,25.
May God bless you and yours each Tuesday and always,
Paul Koleske
